Forces Equine Member Shines: Lesley Wheatley and William Named Petplan’s September Horse of the Month

We're thrilled to celebrate one of our own — Lesley Wheatley and her remarkable horse William, who have been named Petplan's September Horse of the Month! 🏆

This recognition couldn't be more deserved. Lesley and William's story embodies everything that Forces Equine stands for — dedication, perseverance, and the unbreakable partnership between horse and rider.

​Lesley shared her touching journey with us:

"This is William. Purchased as an unbroken 4-year-old, he's been home produced and we have learned our craft through the levels together. He made my dream come true of riding in a tailcoat and every time we canter down that centre line, I feel the luckiest girl in the world dancing with my best friend.
He's had some time off with an issue and I thought our competition days were up, however we managed to qualify for area festivals in 2 outings at the end of his rehab, and then got his golden ticket at Sheepgate Equestrian — I cried! During the test!!!"

William's journey from a young, unbroken horse to a championship-level performer is a testament to the power of patience, resilience, and belief. Even after facing challenges and setbacks, Lesley's determination never wavered — and together, they've achieved something truly special.
