After learning about the move of Scope from Staffordshire Showground to Oswestry via social media, we asked our members their thoughts on location and if they could travel there. Due to July, August & September being such busy months and August being the busiest, getting time off of work and the cost to fund travelling around the county, our members said they could not commit.
All years had been so successful at Scope in Staffordshire, but without our members there is no show, so we had to think again. Arena UK offered to host our Senior Championships at their Festival in September and as they host our Grass Roots in August, it has made total sense to have both Championships at this central location.
Our Senior Championships which hosts the Services Challenge Cup & Plate, also our festival taster classes will take place on Sunday 24th September 2017 at Arena UK.
Arena UK has 525 acres, 10800 sqm all weather arena, up to 9 all weather arenas, 2 indoor arenas, solid & temporary stabling and with hook up available, Arena UK is a fantastic venue for any equine event.
Arena UK has also expanded into the corporate market, impacting on the Central & East of England with their brand new custom built Pavillion.
Forces Equine were honoured to be able to host their annual awards in the new pavillion on the official launch weekend. With special guest Mr Geoff Billington, the night was incredible. With a day of clinics which was followed by our awards and then into our Winter Warm Up Show Jumping, it was a weekend to remember and will be repeated on 24th March 2018.
