Forces Equine is proud to celebrate a series of ITV appearances by members and supporters who have helped raise awareness of the inaugural Gratitude Games, an exciting new event bringing together the Armed Forces, Emergency Services, NHS, Veterans, and the wider community through sport, camaraderie and gratitude.
Over recent weeks, a number of Forces Equine members have taken to the national stage to share their passion for the organisation and promote the vision behind the first-ever Gratitude Games.
Among those featured on ITV were:
• PC Francesca Harborne – Kent Police
• PC Nicola Foley – Lincolnshire Police
• Superintendent Lesley Wheatley – Durham Police
• Financial Investigator Hollie Clark – Wiltshire Police
• Emma-Jane Smith – Former Suffolk Police Officer
• Debi Heath French – Founder of Forces Equine
Each interview highlighted the importance of community, wellbeing, inclusion, and the positive impact that equestrian sport can have on individuals from all walks of life.
The Gratitude Games have been created to recognise and celebrate those who serve and support our communities. The event will provide an opportunity for participants to come together, build new friendships, challenge themselves, and enjoy a unique experience centred around teamwork, respect, and shared values.
Forces Equine Founder Debi Heath French said "The Gratitude Games are about bringing people together. Whether you are serving, retired, volunteering, supporting your community, or simply looking to be part of something special, this event is an opportunity to celebrate the incredible people who make a difference every day."
The ITV appearances have helped shine a spotlight on the growing Forces Equine community and the exciting opportunities available through membership, participation, and volunteering.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Francesca, Nicola, Lesley, Hollie, Emma-Jane, and Debi for representing Forces Equine so professionally and passionately on a national platform. Their dedication, enthusiasm, and commitment continue to inspire others and help grow awareness of both Forces Equine and the Gratitude Games.
As excitement builds for this landmark event, Forces Equine looks forward to welcoming competitors, supporters, volunteers, and spectators from across the United Kingdom.
Together, we are building a stronger community through horses, sport, wellbeing, and gratitude.
